2022 The first National Additive Manufacturing Technology Summit Forum was successfully held

Additive manufacturing (AM), commonly known as 3D printing, integrates computer-aided design, material processing and molding technology, and is based on digital model files. Through software and numerical control system, special metal materials, non-metallic materials and medical biological materials are stacked layer by layer in the way of extrusion, sintering, melting, light curing, spraying, and other ways to create a manufacturing technology of solid objects. In recent years, more and more scientific research institutes and high-end equipment manufacturing enterprises are accelerating the research and development process of additive manufacturing technology, promoting the progress of China's equipment manufacturing technology, solving the "bottleneck" problem, and realizing the Chinese dream of high-end equipment manufacturing.

In order to enhance the mutual exchange of additive manufacturing technology among scientific research institutes, high-end equipment manufacturing enterprises and relevant units, and promote the faster and better development of our additive manufacturing technology, the Institute of Machinery Industry Information and the Machinery Industry Press plan to cooperate with Shanghai Jiaotong University, Anhui University of Technology The Yangtze River Delta Iron and Steel Industry Development Association and other units jointly held the first National Additive Manufacturing Technology Essay Competition and Technology Exchange Summit Forum in Maanshan, Anhui Province, from November 26 to 28, 2022. The conference was held online and offline, and more than 800 professionals witnessed the success of the event through online and offline.
